Last Minute Preparations in Punta Arenas, Chile

20th November 2013, 05:52pm

The Willis Resilience Expedition Team have now assembled in Punta Arenas, Chile, their stop off point before making the final leg of their journey down to Union Glacier in Antarctica.

The Team have spent the time in Punta Arenas making last minute preparations and modifications to their kit and Ice Broker to ensure they are all ready to go once they touch ground in Antarctica

The Team hope to continue their journey due South by the end of next week – flying into Antarctica is always weather dependent and is roughly 4-5hrs from Chile to Union Glacier.
