18th October 2013, 03:01pm

Teenage explorer Parker Liautaud talks about his 6 weeks expedition across the Antarctic . The reason why Parker and Willis, the global risk adviser, insurance and reinsurance broker, teamed up is to attempt a World Record South Pole speed expedition that will help explore the impact of climate change on the planet.

“We want to contribute to an understanding of our changing world. We are undertaking three new research programs: from a new lightweight weather station to testing the composition of Antarctic snow at various depths and identifying trends over recent years.”
